“The EvacuLife Carry Evacuation Chair provides a dependable evacuation pathway when lifts are unavailable and time is critical. In a fire, earthquake, flooding event or security incident, the chair enables efficient, controlled and safe evacuation for people who cannot use stairs independently thanks to its unique friction-controlled belted track system.

With a Safe Working Load of 160kg, the Evacuation Chair is designed to give organisations absolute confidence during an emergency. Lightweight, easy to operate and engineered for single- or dual-operator use, it moves smoothly downstairs without any heavy lifting or manual handling.

Additional foldable carry handles enable the device to be used effectively for transporting individuals up stairs when required. The fold-out rear wheels are fitted with brakes that are conveniently positioned for operator access, enhancing safety and control during use. The headrest incorporates operating instructions and an integrated support strap, providing additional head and neck support when required.

The evacuation chair has been designed for use in multi-storey buildings to assist people with disability, including people with mobility impairment, respiratory conditions, cardiac conditions, arthritis, pregnancy or temporary injuries.
