The Trusted Choice For Hotels

Deafgard Issued at hotel reception. The Safety Centre found hotels were looking for a product that would give their deaf and hard of hearing guests reassurance in an emergency, independence to move freely and comply with regulations. There are nine million deaf and hard of hearing people in the UK, so the the need for deaf assistance solutions is great to open up more inclusive facilities and improve fire safety standards. Babette commented “Most of our Deafgard customers are hotels. The owners and maintenance staff commonly require a solution to accommodate their guests who are deaf or hard of hearing and ensure they comply with the Equality Act 2010.

EvacuLife Recommends: Deafgard For Residential and Commercial Use

Under the Disability Discriminations Act (DDA) all owners of commercial buildings and public buildings are required to make adequate provisions for the needs of deaf and people hard of hearing.

Deafgard is the perfect solution to satisfy the DDA but more importantly, it will ensure safety and not result in any accidents resulting in death happening during a fire evacuation.
